Difference between MBA and Master's degree?
The MBA and the Master are not equivalent university degrees in Germany. The MBA represents a further education measure after a bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience. This further education measure is tax deductible.
The master's degree represents a training measure after the bachelor's degree, which is not tax-deductible. This results in serious differences. The Master of Business Administration program at Düsseldorf Business School is offered on a part-time basis. It is therefore aimed at interested participants with a previous first degree who have already gained at least two years of experience in their professional life. Before this second academic degree can be pursued, the bachelor's degree with its content-related and methodological fundamentals must be completed in a special field of study.
MBA is particularly suitable for (future) managers
The degree program is specifically tailored for future managers. It provides the management tools for future leadership tasks. Since successful graduates of Düsseldorf Business School are academics with many years of professional experience who later assume higher positions in companies, the earning potential is naturally also higher. The job market around MBA graduates is clearly focused on this professional group in the areas of management, consulting or marketing. The MBA program lasts regular, part-time 21 months and serves as a career changer as well as a career enhancer. The MBA program focuses on the topics of management, leadership, entrepreneurship or strategic management. The formal prerequisite for an MBA program at Düsseldorf Business School is, in addition to a previous bachelor's degree, two years of professional experience with in-depth industry knowledge.
