MBA Studies

Our MBA studies include business topics such as accounting, marketing, controlling, business law, tax law and human resources strategies. Based on theoretical expertise and practical application-oriented methods, management employees and department managers can raise their skills to an expert level. This includes skills such as creativity, information management, time management, capacity for teamwork, interculturalism and social media handling. In the first sections of your MBA study programme you will study with other participants from different business branches. Later sections also focus on industry-specific specialization. After successful completion of all courses and a Master Thesis, all MBA participants will be awarded the degree “Master of Business Administration”. The tuition fee for the “General Management” study programme is 28,500 €, plus a 450 € reservation fee following admission to the programme.

Master Of Business Administration (MBA) at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf

The 21-month part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) study programme is aimed particularly at graduates of non-economic studies. The master’s degree programme affects the students’ professional activities as little as possible. Lectures take place on Fridays between 6:15 pm and 9:30 pm and on Saturdays between 09:00 am and 4:30 pm, respectively.

Our additional business management programme offers the opportunity to acquire specific qualifications during your professional activity.

With increasing leadership responsibility, these business qualifications become necessary for your management skills. Public school holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia are academic holidays, but for you to be able to process the material taught in the MBA courses, self-study periods are intended. The total duration of 21 months is divided into four sections containing a total of eight compulsory modules (16 compulsory courses) and one elective module (two optional courses). Each course consists of 28 attendance hours of 45 minutes each. In addition to the final Master Thesis, the compulsory and optional modules of the MBA study programme include various assessments. These can be taken as exams, term papers, presentations or solutions of case studies and are evaluated according to the credit point system of the European Credit Transfer Scheme (ECTS).
