Düsseldorf Business School welcomes international MBA students
On 7 June 2019, new students began their part-time studies at Düsseldorf Business School (DBS). They have opted for the English-language programme of DBS, which has now been launched for the ninth time and leads to a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. The eight new students will bring different perspectives to the group: they come from different countries, have completed very different first degrees and complement each other in their current professional activities. In addition to a philosopher, there are also engineers and communication scientists. They all share the goal of acquiring business knowledge and leadership skills over the next 21 months in the MBA programme.
The managing director of Düsseldorf Business School, Prof. Dr. Christoph J. Börner, paid tribute to the new students for starting a further course of study in addition to their demanding professional activities: “Facing this challenge is a sign of the highest motivation.” At the opening of the course, he also conveyed the greetings of the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, on whose behalf the DBS offers the part-time MBA programmes.
Düsseldorf Business School conducts the further education MBA programmes for the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics of Heinrich Heine University. The courses lead to the academic degree of “Master of Business Administration (MBA)”. Düsseldorf Business School was founded in 2002 and is closely linked to the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf by a cooperation agreement. The examinations for the Master’s degree are held by the university and the degree is awarded by the university. The DBS itself is no university, as a public-private partnership it has the legal form of a GmbH with different types of partners. In addition to the University of Düsseldorf and university lecturers from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, these are companies and institutions from the Düsseldorf region.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
